Positive performance by Derthona who, on the neutral pitch of Cierrebi in Bologna, played a scrimmage against De' Longhi Treviso, who were also stopped due to the use of their player Moretti at the Under18 European Championships. Coach Cavina used all ten elements available, drawing excellent indications from his team in terms of intensity and team play. In a test in which the score was reset to zero at the end of each partial, it was the second and fourth quarters that tipped the balance towards Derthona, who won overall 79-60.
This is the comment of the Orsi Derthona coach, Demis Cavina: “In friendlies the result is never fundamental so, commenting only on the performance, I am extremely satisfied with the defensive approach and the desire to play together demonstrated by the boys in attack. What ends today was an intense and fruitful week, fundamental to finding the energy needed to find victory within us and today's match is a good signal in view of next Friday's match against Rieti".
