In pole position for qualifying for the Final Eight. The opponents in Trentino of Carlo Zonca and his companions will be the co-leaders Pesaro, Nutribullet Treviso, Trieste basketball e Varese Basketball.
The result was achieved with important successes also in terms of proportions to the detriment of Happy Casa Brindisi (92-51), Bank of Sardinia Sassari (77-65) and UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia (77-55), placing the Tortona Lions at the top of the group standings with 6 points tied with Pesaro and with an advantage of already 4 points over the fifth-placed team, the first to be excluded from qualifying for the final phase of the tournament. The goal was achieved as a team, as also demonstrated by the final statistics, with four players averaging double figures in points and a fifth coming close to it and 11 of the 14 Bianconeri of the expedition to the Marche region playing at least 12 minutes per match.

And fortunately, competing with teams from the Serie A youth sectors such as Next Gen also gives us another point of comparison and it is a point of comparison that provides us with some small signals to be satisfied with. The Pesaro parenthesis is over – continues the Bolognese coach – we start again with the U19 Eccellenza championship, we have moved some matches to participate in the Next Gen, so we will also resume including these matches that we have moved, subjecting the boys to a real tour de force. However, now we have an additional experience, which only these events provide, in which we experience high-level basketball in a beautiful competition and in a stimulating context.".
