Excellent performance from Bertram, who still without Ndoja, played a great match in the 4th Memorial Ghisolfi – Audi Zentrum Alessandria Cup played against Legnano, the last pre-season friendly match for coach Pansa's team. The start of the match was characterized by the great balance and intensity shown by the two teams, who sought good fluidity in their offensive solutions: the baskets of an inspired Raffa - and of London - gave Legnano the advantage at the end of the first ten minutes of game (29-25). Even in the second quarter, coach Sacco's team maintains its margin - built thanks to good three-point shooting percentages - and Corti's triple is worth the first double-digit lead (47-36 at 18') for Legnano during the competition. After the time-out called by coach Pansa, the Bianconeri increased the defensive pressure, producing an 11-0 run, closed by Gergati's basket on the counterattack: at half-time the score was perfectly tied (47-47). Upon returning from the changing rooms, Bertram's great growth in defense lowers Legnano's percentages and, combined with quality offensive solutions, leads Derthona to find a double-digit lead after Alibegovic's triple (64-53 in the 25th minute). In the final minutes of the set, coach Sacco's team gets closer in score: at the end of the third quarter the Bianconeri lead 68-64. The great balance between the two teams also continues in the last quarter: Alibegovic's baskets bring Bertram back ahead after Legnano had found parity at 73 in the 35th minute. After another reaction from coach Sacco's team, Derthona's defensive plays made the difference: the Bianconeri won the IV Memorial Ghisolfi 91-83.
