New pre-season commitment for Bertram Derthona, who, still without Ndoja and Spizzichini, managed to beat Ravenna in the second semi-final of the Bertolazzi Memorial scheduled for Parma: the Bianconeri, who took to the pitch with the right attitude, played a great match intensity on both sides of the pitch. Good approach to the match by coach Pansa's team, before suffering a comeback from their opponents in the final part of the first half: after the first 10 minutes Ravenna leads 20-15. Mazzon's team also made a great start in the second period: triples from Montano and Jurkatamm gave them their first double-digit lead in the match (37-26 at 15'). In the most difficult moment of the first half, two consecutive triples by Tuoyo fueled a 6/8 three-point quarter for Bertram. The baskets from outside, combined with the increase in defensive intensity, produce a 20-4 run for the Bianconeri, who lead 46-41 at halftime. In the third quarter Ravenna finds continuity with the three-point shot and manages to prevail over coach Pansa's team, regaining the lead again after the first three periods of play (71-69 at 30'). In the final part, what made the difference - in the last five minutes - was a new defensive growth by the Bianconeri who, led by baskets from Garri and Knowles, regained the lead and achieved a 95-88 victory. For Derthona this match represented a decisive step forward from a defensive point of view and offensive collaborations: tomorrow Bertram will take the field against Varese (who beat Verona 77-66 in the other semi-final) at 20.00 pm for the Memorial final Bertolazzi.
