Melvin Johnson talks about himself in front of the students of Liceo Peano in Tortona
Choosing to be on the side of the "good" growing up in a difficult neighborhood like the Bronx, studying criminology to build a future independent of basketball, following your passion and moving to Europe to play basketball. This and much more was discussed on Tuesday morning, in an exciting meeting that brought about sixty students from the Peano high school in Tortona in front of an exceptional teacher, the American from Bertram Melvin Johnson. The black and white guard made himself available to the students for about an hour, in which he talked about his life and study journey between his hometown of New York and Virginia, the state to which he moved to study and where he is left to live with his girlfriend once he graduated.
Among the topics covered, life within the basketball team of a university with over 55000 students, some funny episodes regarding his arrival in Europe, last year in Varese!
