Matteo Martini: ʺI want to entertain the fans. Choosing Tortona was simple
ʺMy parents have always represented an important reference for me, not only when it comes to sport but also for all other aspects of life. The family supported me in my decisions and advised me when our opinions differed. After playing for a few years between Serie C and B, Matteo arrived in Legnano in A2 in the 2015/16 season. All this left me with the challenge of maintaining a certain type of athleticism and presence which are fundamental and can always be useful on a basketball court..
After finishing last year in Latina, Matteo decided to start a new adventure in Tortona. The choice to move to Piedmont ʺIt was quite simple because I was aware of the ambitious project in progress and the company's way of working. The moment it arrived I called her and I thought about it for a long time.
The new Bertram player expects this new experience ʺto work and to entertain and give satisfaction to those who come to see us, to society and to all the people who follow usʺ.
In addition to being a basketball player, Martini has had a great passion for traveling since he was a boy, because ʺI always traveled a lot with my parentsʺ. Among the adventures that Matteo remembers with particular pleasure are ʺa coast-to-coast trip to California and one to Cuba. I have also been to the eastern part of the United States of America. All the paths I have chosen to follow have left me something; now, after two years of not traveling much, I'm in the process of planning a new itineraryʺ.
