Eleventh victory in as many matches for Bertram Yachts Derthona which, still without Graziani and Morgillo, prevailed in the provincial Derby against Novipiù JB Monferrato at the end of a match conducted for almost its entire duration. First minutes of the Rossoblu-branded Derby: Collins and Martinoni push the guests to 5-10 after four minutes, but the Lions react with Severini's baskets and in the 6th minute the match is perfectly tied at 12. In the final stages of the first fourth Bertram grows considerably in defense and finds in Fabi the finisher of the offensive plays: in the 10th minute the Bianconeri lead 22-14. Derthona controlled the pace of the match even in the opening minutes of the second half, thanks to good offensive plays: the maximum advantage (32-19 at 15') was achieved with six straight points from Sanders. The end of the first half saw a new sprint from the team coached by Ramondino, who went into the break ahead 46-25. Derthona was in control of the pace and the score even after returning from the changing rooms, thanks to the play of Mascolo and Severini who updated the maximum gap to 55-27 in the 25th minute. In the following moments the Lions continue to manage the match, accelerating again in the partial up to 64-35 in the 30th minute. In the last partial, coach Ramondino also made Sackey and Rota debut in the season: the final saw the Lions triumph 83-43.
