LNP, two-year agreement with Sportitalia: the Super Cup final will be the first live broadcast of the season

LNP, two-year agreement with Sportitalia: the Super Cup final will be the first live broadcast of the season

The two-year agreement reached between Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro and Sportitalia was announced today, which will be the national television partner of the Serie A2 Old Wild West championship for the next two seasons. Sportitalia will broadcast exclusively, on Digital Terrestrial channel 60 and Sky channel 225, 36 exclusive matches from the East and West groups of the tournament.

Satisfaction in the words of Michele Criscitiello, director of Sportitalia, who states how ʺLast year was year zero for Serie A2 basketball: a great job was done thanks to the intuition of president Basciano and the collaboration with the men of the League. This year too there will be several historic venues for our basketball and this will guarantee a great following: Sportitalia is happy to be able to offer the A2 spectacle to fans..

ʺLast year Sportitalia proved to be a reliable and respectful partner for the product it hosts – comments the president of LNP Pietro Basciano – therefore the extension was natural. A two-year agreement was not a given, but we thought of the fans who appreciated the choice of free-to-air TV. We will have a greater number of live matches, starting with the LNPʺ Super Cup.

The first live broadcast of the season will be on Saturday 29 September, on the occasion of the final of the LNP Super Cup which will see the winners of Novipiù Casale Monferrato-De' Longhi Treviso and Bertram Derthona Fortitudo Bologna on the pitch: the appointment is set for 21pm at the PalaDozza in Bologna.

Sportitalia's offer is completed, during the season, with "LNP Magazine", a 30-minute in-depth analysis in which guests will be present in the studio and images of the matches played during the year will be broadcast.
