
Autosped closes the first half of the season in Faenza: coach Cutugno's words and the curiosities of the match
The first half of the season ends for Autosped BCC Derthona, who will be on stage on Sunday 15 December at 18 pm at PalaBubani to face E-Work Faenza in the eleventh day of the Serie A1 championship.
The team trained by coach Cutugno currently occupies fourth place in the standings (with 12 points), behind Venezia, Schio and Campobasso, while Faenza is eighth with six points, the result of victories against Brescia, Battipaglia and Alpo.
The match marks Alice Milani's debut in the BCC jersey, having arrived this week after starting the season with APU Women Delser Crich Udine.
As usual, the match was introduced by coach Orazio Cutugno: "We return to play away against a team that prefers the game at speed and can find solutions near the basket with talent and physical size. We will try to finish the first half of the season in the best possible way. The group feels the desire to continue with the right energy and, in this type of game, attention to some defensive details is crucial".
CURIOSITIES AND NUMBERS – The match against Faenza is one of the event matches of the project 'Road to Cohesion With Sport', promoted by Lega Basket Femminile. The project began with the match between Giraffe and Famila Wuber Schio on Sunday, November 24. For Autosped, therefore, a new opportunity to get involved in this initiative.
Elisa Penna reaches her two hundredth appearance in Serie A1, while Caterina Dotto reaches 400 in all LBF competitions. Beatrice Attura (978 points) is 22 points away from 1000 in Serie A1.
