Coach Rabolini's corner – Happy Casa Brindisi
Just under two days until Bertram Derthona's home debut in Serie A 2023/24, playing against Happy Casa Brindisi in the match scheduled at PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris at 18.15pm on Sunday 8 October. The assistant coach presented the team and individual characteristics of the upcoming opponents Edoardo Rabbolini, which starting from this home match, will describe the most important aspects of the teams that will face the Bianconeri. Below is his comment on Happy Casa:
“Brindisi is a team with offensive talent, which makes perimeter play an important characteristic. He has wingers who are skilled at building shots and atypical big men capable of playing very well in front of the basket. Happy Casa makes almost the same number of two- and three-point shots: this, combined with the pace and aggression that the players put in at the start of each offensive possession, is the peculiar quality of the team coached by Corbani.
The roster underwent an important renewal in the summer: compared to last season, only Riismaa and Bayehe were confirmed. Among the guards, Jamel Morris and Jeremy Senglin are two important scorers, capable of lighting up and producing significant partials for the team. Tommaso Laquintana, with his extemporaneousness, ensures his own contribution. Wendell Mitchell, a very effective shooter, comes off the bench.
