The corner of coach Galli – Tezenis Verona
The new appointment of the Bertram Derthona championship is approaching, eagerly awaited by the challenge to Tezenis Verona scheduled at the AGSM Forum on Saturday 3 December at 18.00 pm. Presenting the characteristics of the opponents was, as usual, the assistant coach Massimo Galli:
“The trip to the field awaits us for a newly promoted team, which however has a great tradition of high level in basketball in the past. Verona has maintained the backbone of the team that won the A2: as point guard it fields Cappelletti, whose main characteristic is the ability to create for himself and his teammates. Acting alongside him is Karvel Anderson, who had already played in Italy in Imola and was fundamental in Verona's promotion. This is a shooter who is proving himself again this year. Behind them are Bortolani, new arrival after the first part of the season in Manresa, who is a fearsome shooter, and Davide Casarin, one of the most interesting young players in the championship. We cannot then forget about Jamarr Sanders, the great ex of the match, protagonist of exciting seasons in Tortona. It will certainly be a pleasure to find him again.
In the long department they confirmed Xavier Johnson from A2 and joined him with Taylor Smith, an athlete with great explosiveness and ability to play close to the rim. The substitutions are Candussi and Holman, very dangerous when shooting from outside. The mother hen of the group is Rosselli, a veteran of our league."
