Coach Galli's corner – Nutribullet Treviso
Last match of 2022 for Bertram Derthona, who will challenge Nutribullet Treviso at 17pm on December 26th at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris. Presenting the characteristics of the team coached by Marcelo Nicola is the Juventus assistant coach Massimo Galli:
“After Scafati's beautiful victory, the match against Treviso awaits us, a city with a great tradition of Italian basketball. They are fresh from the home success against Brindisi and animated by the desire to do well and the right enthusiasm to face us.
The starting point guard is Iroegbu, physically strong and who makes 1-on-1 shooting and three-point shooting his strengths. The change is Zanelli, who returned home to Treviso after the Brindisi years. The other starting fullbacks are Jurkatamm, a young boy who enjoys the trust of the club, and Sokolowski, fresh from a great championship last year which earned him confirmation. The starting '4' is Sorokas, a former matchday player from the Treviso side, who did very well in Varese in 2021/22 and can also play as number '5'. The starting pivot is Cooke, a great athlete.
From the bench come Banks, a veteran of our championship who needs no introduction, and the young Faggian, protagonist of a positive start to the season and capable of playing multiple roles. The replacements of the big men are Jantunen, a talented young man from Belgium and capable of playing both far and close to the basket, and Simioni, fresh from his years with Ravenna in A2".
