In the role of '2', the EA7 roster presents numerous possibilities of choice, also linked to the turnover of foreigners: Baron is an excellent three-point shooter, Hall has a great physical impact and Tonut, in his first season in Milan, is carving out a truly important role.
The starting '3' is Shields, one of the offensive leaders of the Milanese team, who is finding his best condition after being out for a long time due to injury. Also acting in the role are Datome, another excellent shooter from outside and - depending on the quintet and the moments of the match - Ricci, one of the former players of the day, and Tonut himself.
Under the basket, in recent outings, coach Messina has focused on the pair formed by Melli and Voigtmann, both capable of opening the court with three-point shots and, at the same time, guaranteeing presence and physicality inside the area. Their replacements are the ageless Kyle Hines, a born winner, and Biligha; in some situations, Ricci also acts as number '4'.
