Coach Galli's corner – Banco di Sardegna Sassari
Second consecutive away match for Bertram Derthona, awaited by the interesting challenge at Bank of Sardinia Sassari. The taproom is scheduled at 19.30 hours di Sunday March 26 at the PalaSerradimigni. Presenting the characteristics of the opponents is, as usual, the assistant coach Massimo Galli:
“Sassari is led by a great coach like Piero Bucchi and has beaten us twice this season, both in the Super Cup and in the championship. Banco di Sardegna has returned from six consecutive victories, and eight in the last nine games, in which it has produced over 97 points on average.
In the control room are Gerald Robinson, out due to injury in the last game, capable of creating for himself and his teammates, and Chris Dowe, growing exponentially in the winning streak (19 points on average in the last 6 games). Next to them Kruslin, an expert and deadly three-point shooting player (51% in the season) and Stefano Gentile, capable of playing both as '1' and '2': very solid, he is a great defensive glue.
The '3' are Jamal Jones, also out in the last match, who has several high-level experiences in Europe behind him, and Raspino, who has found space in the last few outings. The external department is completed with Chessa, another excellent shooter, and Devecchi, captain and flag of the team.
