Lamine Tandia in black and white until 2026
Bertram Derthona reports that an agreement has been reached up to June 2026 with Tandia foils, a center who arrived in Tortona in 2022, who will be part of the first team roster.
CAREER – Born in 2004, Lamine arrived in Italy in Jesi, where he played at both youth and senior level. In 2021/22 he was in fact a protagonist both with Cab Aurora Jesi, playing in Serie C Silver (10.2 points per game), and with the Under 19 Eccellenza team, with which he scored 13 points per outing.
In the same year he played in the Varese stage of the Adidas Next Gen Tournament, the EuroLeague youth tournament, wearing the EA7 Emporio jersey. In the four games played he averaged 4 points and 6.5 rebounds. With the VL Carpegna Prosicutto Pesaro jersey he took part in Legabasket's IBSA Next Gen Cup 2022, finishing the event with 9.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per match.
In 2022/23 he moved to Bertram Derthona, playing with both the Under 19 Eccellenza and C Gold, formed by the same group of players. At senior level, he contributed to the achievement of promotion to the Interregional Serie B, while with the youth team he reached the semi-final of the IBSA Next Gen Cup 2023. Now Tandia is preparing to start his second season in Tortona.
