Allianz Derthona made their debut in the U17 Excellence National Finals, which began today, with a defeat . At the PalaCilento in Torchiara (SA) , Enrico Rocco 's team lost to UnaHotels Reggio Emilia in the final evening match of the first day of Group D.
The Tortonesi had a better start, led by Bellinaso's baskets and the energy coming off the bench of Borasi (in the photo by Ciro Rusciano) and Quaroni closed the first quarter ahead, 18-21, and reached their maximum lead of 18-25 after 35” from the start of the second period thanks to two more baskets from 2008 Quaroni.
