The week of the Juventus youth teams
First seasonal commitments for the Juventus youth sector teams, engaged over the weekend in their respective championships or in official tournaments. Taking to the field were the Under 18 DNG, the Under 16 Eccellenza, the Under 14 Elite and the 2010/11 Scoiattoli.

Defeat on debut for the Under 18 DNG, who surrendered to Pallacanestro Biella at the end of a match characterized by the great pace at which the two teams played. The first half was balanced and ended in a draw at 41. Upon returning from the changing rooms, Biella took advantage of the shortened rotation of coach Talpo's team to gain an advantage in the score, while in the last period the Bianconeri had a good reaction which allowed us to reduce the gap against our opponents.

Debut with victory in the Under 16 championship. Excellence for the Bianconeri, capable of beating Crocetta Torino away. The first half was marked by the great balance between the two teams, evidenced by the tie at 27 at half-time. In the second half, Derthona's growth in defensive intensity changed the inertia of the match and allowed them to produce a 20-4 partial which coach Gaudio's team was able to manage until the final siren, starting their journey with their foot Right.

Good victory for the young Bianconeri in the first match of the tournament, which saw them against the hosts ViCus Parma. Favorable start of the match for coach Bisin's team supported by Piero Bonferoni, coach of Olympia Voghera, who built a good margin of advantage at half-time: in the second half, after the reaction of their opponents, Derthona did well in maintaining the accumulated margin and achieve success.

In Saturday's semi-final, the Bianconeri - who were joined by three youngsters from Olympia Voghera for the entire duration of the tournament - got the better of Virtus Bologna. What made the difference in Derthona's favor were the intensity and continuity put on the field by the players, capable of playing a match of good technical level.

In the 1st-2nd place final the Bianconeri surrendered to Vanoli Cremona, a team that proved to be superior from a physical point of view. The Lombards play a match of great technical quality which allows them to gain an advantage in the score: despite this, Derthona manages to come back into contact at the end with a reaction of great pride which bodes well for the season.
