First victory in the championship for the Under 18 DNG of Derthona Basket: the Bianconeri, opposed to Mortara, are protagonists of a high-intensity start which allows them - also thanks to the plays of Paulinus - to soon reach the double-digit lead. The turnovers in the third quarter of the game, however, allowed the guests to significantly reduce their gap and get back into contact with the score. In the end, what makes the difference in favor of the Lions is the clarity with which the offensive possessions are played. For the rest of the season we will need to start again from the good things put in place against Mortara and work to reduce the errors instead.

Second defeat in the championship for the Under 18 Regionale Gold team: against a team of the same level the Bianconeri played on par throughout the match - going into the break leading by two points - giving in at the end due to some errors combined with the baskets three points scored by the Omegna players. Next week the Lions will not be involved in the championship and will have the opportunity to work to eliminate the mistakes made during this match. Coach Censurini's team will be back on the pitch on Thursday 15 November in Novara.

Good performance for the Under 14 Elite of Derthona Basket, who prevailed in the match against Cigliano: the Bianconeri led the match right from the start, closing the first quarter with a 38-3 lead. In the other partials, the Bianconeri expanded their margin to 99-35 at the final siren. For the rest of the season, the young Lions will have to improve their mental approach to the races, in order to grow over the course of the year.

A good team performance allows Derthona Basket's Under 13 team to get the upper hand against NB Tortona: in front of a large and warm audience, the first half flows on a tightrope. The great defensive pressure from the Lions, in the first twenty minutes, produced numerous steals which did not always result in baskets; in the second half, however, the greater clarity in the conclusions widened the gap up to 58-42 with which the match ended.

On Sunday, before Bertram Derthona's match against Rieti, an Aquilotti triangular tournament took place at the PalaOltrepò, which saw the participation - in addition to the Juventus team - of Olympia Voghera and College Basketball Alessandria. The tournament ended with the victory of the hosts from Voghera, College took second place, while Derthona finished in third place. It was a day of celebration which saw the boys from the three teams take to the field, who then attended Bertram's Serie A2 match.
