Fifth consecutive success for DNG on the difficult Varese Basketball court, at the end of a balanced match that was resolved only in the final stages. In the first half the hosts led the game for large stretches, without going beyond a five-point margin (19-14 at 14'), while in the second half Derthona - thanks to defensive growth - first shortened the gap and then conducted the challenge. In the final, precision in free throws and some great defense allowed the team coached by Olivieri to prevail 49-52. The next championship match, the last of the first round, will see the Lions engaged at the PalaCamagna against Crocetta Torino on Monday 13 January at 20.00 pm: the match will be broadcast live on the Radio PNR YouTube channel and on the communication channels of Club.

Good performance for the Juventus team against Vanoli Cremona, a very organized team with a good physical and athletic quality. Defeat on the pitch for the league leaders for the Juventus team, who approached the match very well, finding good continuity on both sides of the pitch. In the central parts of the match the greater physical and athletic quality of the Turin team allows them to recover the gap accumulated in the first ten minutes and to progressively increase their score. The final sees the triumph of Cus 75-53; worth mentioning is the encouraging performance of all the Lions who took to the field on this occasion.
