Solid match from Derthona Basket, who - with the quintet formed by Valle, Buffo, Ciadini, Festinese and Seck - had a good approach to the challenge. For almost the entire first half the Bianconeri limited Biella's attack, finding good initiatives from all the players. In the second half, the Lions first repelled Biella's overtaking attempts and then progressively extended their lead to 87-78, thanks to their control of rebounds (58-30) and their pursuit of team play (22 assists at the siren). For the rest of the season, starting from the next match on the Novipiù Campus pitch, we will need to find greater continuity in defense over the forty minutes.

Defeat for the Juventus team against Il Canestro: the Bianconeri approached the match better, leading it in the first two halves and going into the break ahead 33-38. In the second half the home team, thanks to a good three-point shooting percentage and Oliviero's play, managed to overtake. We arrive at a point-to-point final, which sees the success of the Alessandria team with a score of 80-72.

The team coached by Della Godenza falls to Galliate, protagonist of a brilliant first half on both halves of the pitch; only close to half-time did the hosts manage to get back into contact by raising the intensity of their defence. Upon returning from the locker rooms, Galliate takes control of the pace and score of the match, producing an important partial that closes the match: despite the comeback attempts in the final period, the Lions surrender 86-64 at the siren.

Complex commitment for the Under 16s, on the Chieri pitch: the Bianconeri suffered from their opponents' initiatives for the entire first half, even accumulating a 20 point gap. Between the end of the third and the beginning of the fourth period the Lions react and progressively reduce their gap, until they reach just one point away. In the last minutes the Turin team took advantage of some errors by the guests to once again extend the score and take the victory 82-77. For the rest of the championship, Derthona will have to be continuous and intense for all forty minutes of the match.

New success for the Under 15 Eccellenza who, within the friendly walls of PalaCamagna, played a concrete and solid match for all forty minutes against Vado Ligure. The good defensive intensity and the collective solutions in attack allow the Lions to go to the break with a significant margin (44-26); upon returning from the locker room, the home team continued to lead the match in terms of pace and score, gradually widening their margin up to 79-49 at the final siren. Of note is the search for team play in attack and the desire to raise the energy and attention in defense by all the boys.

Good performance for Derthona Basket on the Sisport pitch: the Bianconeri showed the right intensity for the entire match, playing on par with their opponents for over three quarters. In the final period the hosts increased their score and won 71-45. In view of the next matches, the Lions' objective must be to further raise their level of competitiveness.

Victory for the young Lions on the difficult Don Bosco Crocetta pitch: the Bianconeri approached the match well, thanks to a defensive intensity that forced their opponents to score just 25 points in the first half. Upon returning from the changing rooms, the Turin team made an important effort to close the gap and found parity, before Derthona returned to lead the match thanks to a basket 40 seconds from the end. The good defense on the following possession and the precision on the line allow the team coached by Fanaletti to win 55-60.

First championship match for the young Lions who, within the friendly walls of PalaCamagna, faced the Dolci Terre Basket School. The team coached by Fanaletti took to the field with energy and had fun during the six periods played against a prepared team that won 6-18.

Home defeat for Tortona at the end of a match which saw De Ros' team lead for the entire first half (30-28 at half-time). The great balance on the pitch continued until the final stages of the match, when the guests - thanks to their precision in three-point shooting - managed to score the baskets that gave them the victory 62-64.
