The Under 18 DNG has to postpone the appointment with the first victory in the championship: opposed to Novipiù Campus Moncalieri, Derthona pays for a soft approach (12-2) which affects the entire match. Despite the comeback attempts, some defensive errors prevented the Bianconeri from recovering the initial gap: the match ended 91-74.

Second consecutive victory for the Under 18 Regionale Gold boys who, in the match played at PalaCamagna, got the better of their peers from Trecate. After a balanced first quarter, with the guests capable of playing on the counterattack, the Bianconeri made the difference in the two central quarters thanks to a 50-26 run that directed the match. The accumulated margin allows the team coached by coach De Ros to manage the last period of play, closing with the final score of 95-57. The Lions' next match will be Tuesday 23 October at 20.00 pm, again at the PalaCamagna against Trecate A, a more accredited team than the B team encountered on this occasion.

First defeat in the championship for the Juventus team in the Under 18 Regional Gold championship: facing the current leaders of the group, Trecate A, the Lions paid for a difficult first half in which their opponents made use of their greater intensity in attack and defense to extend to 14-47 at the break. Upon returning from the changing rooms, the home team had a good reaction, but not enough to close the gap accumulated in the first twenty minutes. The next match will be Thursday 1 November at 17.30 pm on the Omegna pitch.

The Under 16 Eccellenza of Derthona falls at home, at the end of a match with two faces. Sprint start for coach Gaudio's team, which finds good initiatives in attack and reaches the double-digit lead (17-6) at the end of the first half of the game. The reaction of the 5 Pari arrives already in the second period of the game, even if the hosts are still ahead at half-time. Upon returning from the locker rooms, the guests exploited the Lions' difficulties, raising their physical intensity especially in defence, and achieved a 50-41 success.

Second victory for the Under 15 Gold, playing at home against the highly rated Borgosesia. Strong start from the home team, who immediately pulled ahead of their opponents: at the first siren the score was 28-13. In the two central quarters the Bianconeri suffered a comeback from Borgosesia, who reached -6 at the start of the final period: after a time-out requested by coach De Ros, the Lions returned to increasing their defensive pressure and playing fluidly in attack , achieving a deserved 75-58 success.

Defeat for the Under 14 team of Derthona Basket, who surrendered to an opponent who proved to be superior. After a balanced first period, the guests began to increase their scoring already in the second half by taking advantage of good shooting continuity, even from three points. In the second half the College was able to increase its margin to the final 64-45. Worth noting is the beautiful third half organized by the parents of the Derthona boys at the end of the match.
