Sprint victory for DNG in the second round of the championship: after a complex start (-10 at the first siren), Derthona progressively reduces their gap going into the break three points behind. The match was fought, with seventeen leadership changes: in the decisive moment of the match the Lions were good at finding the right offensive solutions and, in the last action, they managed to field a great defensive intensity which forced their opponents not to pull. Worth noting is the great performance of Magaye Seck, author of 32 points and 14 rebounds with only two errors from the field, well supported by Valle and Barbieri. A success that gives confidence to the team coached by Olivieri in view of the difficult derby on the Junior Casale pitch, scheduled for Monday 14 October 2019 at 19.30 pm.

Victory on their debut in the championship for the Juventus team who, within the friendly walls of PalaCamagna, imposed their own pace on the match from the very first moments of the game. Thanks to team play and great energy, the Lions gradually extended their lead up to +19 at the break. Upon returning from the changing rooms, Chieri displayed greater intensity which allowed the guests to reduce the gap, reaching under the double-digit deficit: in the final, the team coached by Di Matteo, however, extended their lead again and achieved success with a score of 71-59. Derthona's next match will be Saturday 12 October 2019 at 16.00 pm on the My Basket Genova pitch.
