The DNB championship formula
A little clarity on the formula of the 2013/2014 DNB championship.
There are 2 days left until the end of the regular season. Subsequently there will be the "clock phase" with 4 matches whose results will be added to the points obtained in the regular season.
The matches of the clock phase are determined based on the placement at the end of the regular season: each team meets the two teams that follow it in the standings AT HOME and the two teams that precede it AWAY.
Example: DERTHONA first place in the regular season meets 2nd and 3rd AT HOME and 13th and 14th away.
At the end of the clock phase, the playoffs will begin on Saturday 10 May with the top 8 teams playing a best of 3 games.
The four playoff winning teams for each group will meet in the national concentration of Cervia on 18/19 June to determine the 3 teams promoted to LEGADUE
