Successful comeback for Bertram Yachts Derthona, who chased Biella for a large part of regulation time and then impacted the game at the end thanks to Tavernelli's basket. In extra time, the plays of Gražulis, Gaines and Mascolo gave an important victory to the team coached by Ramondino. Balanced start to the match in the second consecutive Piedmont derby for Bertram Yachts Derthona, which then suffered the initiatives of Omogbo and Saccaggi who created the first break of the match (11-19 at 7') which forced coach Ramondino to stop the operations. In the following moments the Lions close the gap: in the 10th minute Biella leads 15-20. In the second period it was Bortolani who pushed the team coached by Galbiati forward again, who maintained a three-possession margin and then reached the double-digit lead at 26-37 in the 18th minute. The final minutes of the first half are closed by the goals of Omogbo and Gaines, who send the teams to the break with Edilnol leading 32-44. Upon returning from the locker rooms, the Bianconeri found in Gražulis (author of five triples in the half) the offensive terminal of reference to reduce the gap towards Biella, who remained ahead in terms of scoring and managed to resist the home team's comeback attempt, fueled from Gaines and Seck: at the end of the third quarter the guests lead 59-64 thanks to Massone's basket at the end of the period. The last stage is opened by the back and forth between Gražulis and Saccaggi which keeps the distances unchanged; Bertram then returns to just one point behind (70-71 at 35') thanks again to Gražulis, perfect from the line. The final minutes were played in the name of balance, with Biella always leading with a small margin: Tavernelli's precision on the line made it 77-78 50 seconds from the siren, the subsequent 1/2 by Bortolani and the lay- ups from Tavernelli, who corrects Čepić's shooting error, impact the match: in the 40th minute it's 79 all, it will be overtime at PalaOltrepò. The extra time was opened by triples from Gaines and Gražulis, which pushed Derthona to their maximum advantage in the match (85-79 in the 41st minute), which was also maintained in the following moments with Mascolo's plays, which made it 91-85 in the 44th minute. Edilnol shortens with free throws from Omogbo and Saccaggi, who bring the score to 91-89 with 18 seconds to go before the siren. Čepić scores 1/2 on the line and puts full possession back between the two teams, following the following foul by Tavernelli Polite is perfect with the free throws: with 12 seconds to go Derthona leads 92-91. Gaines' free throw closes the contest, giving the home team a 93-91 victory.
