Defeat for Bertram Yachts Derthona on the Trapani field, at the end of a match full of great emotions and resolved only by the plays of Corbett, author of 39 points at the end of the match. The match started in favor of Derthona, who left their defensive mark and found good team solutions in attack: in the 5th minute the score was 5-9. The subsequent 5-0 entirely scored by Corbett gives the home team the first advantage; in the following moments it is again Corbett (author of 11 points in the period) and Sanders who move the score: in the 10th minute Trapani leads 18-17. The start of the second period is characterized by balance, with the two teams responding basket after basket to their opponents' initiatives: in the 15th minute Tortona leads 23-26. The 5-0 counter break signed by Palermo and Renzi gives the team coached by Parente the upper hand again and induces coach Ramondino to stop the match. Coming out of the suspension Mascolo and Gražulis made two three-point baskets which made it 28-32 in the 17th minute: this time it was Trapani who interrupted the operations. The last actions of the first half are in favor of the Sicilians, who lead 37-33 at the long break. At the start of the second half, six points from Gražulis pushed Bertram ahead (40-42 at 24'), Sanders' subsequent outside basket crowned the 3-12 run which put two possessions between the teams (40-45) forcing coach Parente to stop the match. It is the usual Corbett (already author of 20 points) who interrupts the guest's break, allowing 2B Control to remain in contact in the score (45-50 at 28'), before Spizzichini signs the new counter-overtaking in a match made up of partial. The third quarter is closed by Nwohuocha's free throws, which set the score at 53-50. The sprint start of Parente's team in the last quarter (break of 6-3 which widened the gap to 59-53 in the 32nd minute) forced coach Ramondino to interrupt the match: coming out of the suspension Derthona reduced their gap to 61-57 in the 35th minute and 64-63 in the 37th minute, thanks to two consecutive triples by Sanders. Martini scores the match at 66 two minutes from the end, Corbett brings the home team back ahead in the 39th minute (70-68) and coach Ramondino stops the match again to organize the attack. Gražulis and Corbett, from three points, keep the distance unchanged, then Spizzichini puts full possession between the two teams (74-71). Tavernelli scores 1/2, Gražulis captures the offensive rebound following his teammate's error and scores the match again at 74 with 6 seconds to go. The usual Corbett and Palermo launch Trapani at the start of overtime (80-76 at 41'), before the equalizer at 80 by Tavernelli. It is then once again the American player from 2B Control who pushes his team forward, with baskets of absolute talent that make it 87-81 with 80 seconds to go. In the following actions, some turnovers prevented Tortona from getting back into contact with the score: Trapani won 90-83.
