Thus coach Marco Ramondino at the end of the race: ʺDue and well-deserved congratulations to Milan, to the coaching staff and to the players for having won the Italian Cup, controlling the match from start to finish. During the event, AX Armani Exchange deserved the trophy. Our performances in the tournament were good both from a technical and character point of view in the first two days, today we gave everything as a group but it wasn't enough against Milan. Competing against great coaches and players must be a stimulus to try to improve. Ettore Messina is a coach who will end up in the Springfield Hall of Fame and for the coaches of my generation he is a model from every point of view: there is great admiration for what he is, he has done and will do for basketball . Due to the type of team we are, it is difficult to extrapolate a single player from the context: we perceive a collaboration between the players and the support of behaviors that allow everyone to express themselves. The most positive thing about the Italian Cup is the perception of how we are going and where we can improve. From a championship perspective, this tournament could be more dangerous than positive simply from an extra-technical point of view: having reached the final raises the bar for us and being newly promoted we have to demonstrate the level we are at. We avoid the trap of raising expectations only if we return to the gym with the idea that what has been done is a lot but we can grow..
