Home defeat for Bertram Yachts Derthona, at the end of a balanced match and resolved only in the final seconds by Caroti's plays and Gražulis' errors on the line. Balanced start to the match at the PalaOltrepò in Voghera, in front of an important crowd that remembers Luigino Fassino - the greatest symbol in the history of Derthona - a year after his death: the two teams find good joint solutions that move the score. Treviglio then ends the first half ahead (18-21) thanks to Caroti's triple. In the opening minutes of the second period, the guests lead the game at pace, extending the margin to two possessions (at 23-29 in the 14th minute) following Palumbo's triple which forces coach Ramondino to stop the operations. In the final stages of the first half, Collins takes the lead, scoring four consecutive three-point baskets that push BCC to 34-41 in the 20th minute. Upon returning from the locker room, the American player once again fueled the visitors' break, crowned by a four-point game which earned the maximum lead (36-52 at 23') in the match. In the following actions, Bertram increases the intensity of her defense, managing - with Sanders' plays - to close the gap to under double figures (46-52 at 27', against a partial score of 10-0). The favorable moment for the Bianconeri continued until the end of the half, closed by baskets from De Laurentiis and Tavernelli which earned them the overtaking (57-56) to close a 21-4 break. The last period begins with a great balance in the score, which is then broken by the baskets of Sanders and Severini, the latter an attack rebound: the 65-61 internal score in the 34th minute forces coach Vertemati to request a time-out . Coming out of the suspension, BCC produces a 0-5 score signed by Collins-Caroti which is worth the counter-overtaking (65-66 at 36'): this time it is coach Ramondino who stops the match. De Laurentiis scores the new lead (67-66 in the 38th minute), before Caroti – glacial on the line – puts Treviglio back ahead by one point entering the final round. Collins misses the shot to close the game, the subsequent 0/2 by Gražulis condemns Derthona to defeat: the final score is 67-68.
