Bertram Derthona was defeated by PalaFerraris, playing on par with Brindisi for over thirty minutes on the third day of the LBA championship, before conceding the decisive partial of Happy Casa in the final quarter. The next match of the team coached by coach Ramondino will be Sunday 17 October at 16.30 pm on the VL Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro pitch.

First quarter favorable to Brindisi: the team coached by Vitucci, taking advantage of the great precision in the shot from outside, extends up to +8 before suffering the reaction of Derthona, who shortens it to 18-24 in the 10th minute. In the opening minutes of the second half, Bertram overtook with triples from Tavernelli and Mascolo which ignited PalaFerraris, before suffering a partial counter from Brindisi which earned them the new lead: at half-time the score was 42-44.

Upon returning from the locker rooms, the match continues at a high pace, with two teams finding good offensive solutions: in a succession of overtaking and counter-overtaking, Happy Casa leads 63-66 at the third buzzer. In the final period, after a few balanced minutes, Brindisi made the decisive move thanks to baskets from Zanelli and Perkins and won 78-87.

Thus coach Marco Ramondino at the end of the race: ʺCongratulations to Brindisi for the victory, deserved for the continuity achieved in the forty minutes. We have had the usual ups and downs in terms of readiness and quality of play which we cannot accept lightly. They played a game of great toughness and physicality in our half of the pitch and in rebounding: this made the difference. I believe that the final result is the sum of many factors, including the impact of their players coming off the bench and the growth they had during the match. We need a greater sense of urgency from everyone who enters the pitch: it's something we prepare in training to be ready for the match.".
