Italbasket, preparation for the World Cup begins: Luca Severini called up
Important appointment for Luke Severini, selected by coach Gianmarco Pozzecco among the 16 players who will meet at the Folgaria Training Camp from July 24th to August 2nd to begin preparation for the FIBA World Cup 2023 scheduled in Manila (Philippines) from August 25th to September 10th.
There will be seven friendlies that Italbasket will face in its approach to the World Cup, starting with the Trentino Basket Cup scheduled for 4 and 5 August at the BLM Group Arena in Trento.
From the 16 athletes selected for the Training Camp, the 12 players who will take part in the World Cup will then be chosen.
