Interruption of activity until Sunday 1 March
Derthona Basket and Derthona Basket LAB, also following the closure of schools in Piedmont due to the Coronavirus emergency, communicate that as of future 24 February 2020 and for the whole week all club sports activities will be interrupted starting from Minibasketball training. All members will also be updated via direct communication channels. As regards the activity of the first team, we reserve the right to adopt all appropriate measures, and in any case in line with any ordinances of the competent bodies, to the competitive commitments should the dispute of the Serie A2 match scheduled for next weekend be confirmed in Voghera against Agrigento.
Following the closure measures of sports facilities and meeting places issued by municipal and regional administrations, FIP Piemonte has issued the following press release:
“In consideration of the measures to close sports facilities and meeting places issued by municipal and regional administrations, in agreement with the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection, this Committee suspends all sporting events (national-regional-minibasket-3 competitions ×3-CTF etc..) of all the championships scheduled from Monday 24 February to Sunday 1 March inclusive.
The competitions involving Piedmontese teams in Liguria and the Aosta Valley managed by the Piedmontese UG will currently take place regularly.
Activities will resume from March 2 unless further notice is given."
