Gulliver Supermercati Derthona also lost on the third day of the first leg of the Play-in Gold of the Interregional Serie B against BC Servizi Basket Aretina.
The black and white team, led by coach Ansaloni, starts with determination, starting the game with a good partial, creating excellent shots. Arezzo, however, manages to get into the game almost immediately, recovering the mini-gap immediately and closing the first quarter in the lead thanks to two baskets in the final minutes. In the second period, Gulliver once again suffers the offensive intensity of the “amaranth”, who increase their lead, exceeding the double digit gap. The last two quarters are characterized by a slowdown for both teams, with Arezzo managing their lead. Gulliver Derthona tries to get closer, thanks to baskets by Di Meo (pictured) and Fogliato, who reduce the gap to -8, but the Tuscans respond promptly, completing the decisive run. With this defeat, the Tortona team suffers the third consecutive setback in the second North-West phase of the Serie B Interregionale championship.
