Bertram Yachts Derthona's third match of the preseason, playing against Agribertocchi Orzinuovi - a team included in the Green Group of the Serie A2 Old Wild West championship - in front of their own fans: the Lions, in a match with a score reset to zero in every quarter, continue to grow winning two of the four quarters played and drawing one. Traditional quintet in this start to the season for coach Ramondino in the first home scrimmage of the year: after a favorable start for the guests, the plays of Sanders, Severini and Cannon give the Bianconeri the advantage (18-13 in the 8th minute). In the closing stages of the first quarter, the Lions widened their margin to 26-15 with baskets from Cannon and Gazzotti. The start of the second period was favorable to Bertram, pushed by Graziani, Mascolo and Gazzotti: the Bianconeri led the score by 12-6 at half time. In the following minutes the Bianconeri found good team solutions and widened the gap during the half which ended with baskets from Cannon and Morgillo (24-13). In the third quarter Martini and Miles produce Orzinuovi's break (1-7) at the start, interrupted by Sanders' triple: in the following minutes Bertram takes control of the pace of the match and overtakes (15-14) with a free throw Cannon. The plays of Miles and Spanghero allow the guests to prevail in the third quarter with a score of 18-28. The last quarter is played in balance between the two teams, who find good responses from all the players used: Miles and Mastellari push Orzinuovi forward, before Tavernelli and Severini allow Derthona to regain the lead 17-16. Mastellari and Sanders - the latter with three points - move the score, which at the siren is equal to 20. Bertram's next match will take place on Wednesday 7 October 2020 at 17.30 pm away on the BCC Treviglio pitch.
