Together for a common future: Mapei teams up with Derthona Basket
Mapei's commitment to the world of sport continues with a new important agreement with Derthona Basket. The company, a world leader in the production of adhesives, sealants and chemical products for the construction industry, supports Derthona Basket as an official sponsor for the 2022-2023 season, the second in Serie A of the historic basketball team from the city of Tortona.
Mapei is ready to enter the field by sharing with the "Lions" those sporting values that have always been part of its DNA: teamwork, determination and perseverance in facing new challenges.
In addition to the more sporting aspect, Mapei is involved in the construction works of the new multipurpose structure in the city of Tortona: the Cittadella dello Sport, the future and new home of Derthona Basket. For the realization of this project the company is supplying numerous of its construction products.
The new area dedicated to sport and creativity in Tortona will include a Sports Hall intended for holding matches and sporting events, but also shows and concerts. A secondary structure will instead host the training field dedicated to Derthona Basket players.
