The second foreigner is Glenn Cosey

 

Glenn Cosey is the second foreigner on the Orsi Derthona Basket roster who has thus completed the roster for the next championship. 183 cm playmaker, born in Flint, Michigan, on 17 February 1992, last season he played the regular season of the Adriatic League with the Croatian club KK Zadar, and then concluded the year at Pertevniyal Istanbul, satellite team of the famous Anadolu Efes who plays in the Turkish second league.
Cosey grew up at Flint Carman Ainswort High School in Flint, Michigan, and after two years of community college at Columbus State, he landed at Eastern Kentucky in the summer of 2012, where in two seasons he averaged first 14.8 and then 18.7 ppg, with 4.2 apg and 3.2 rpg, with 42.6% from 3-point range. The landing in Europe took place in 2014, with the arrival in France at Evreux, in Pro-B: Cosey played 34 games, finishing in fourth place in the scorers' ranking with 16.3 points on average (43% from the field, 39% from 3 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists per game.
From the French championship Cosey moved to the Adriatic League, with the shirt of KK Zadar: with the Croatian club he played 26 games, with 12 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2 assists on average, in a season enriched by 20 points in the 62-53 success against Cibona Zagreb, and the 25 scored in the 88-81 victory over Cedevita Zagreb.
Having concluded the experience in March, Cosey agreed to end the season at Pertevniyal Istanbul, a club that finished ninth in the Turkish TBL-2. In nine games, 15.4 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 4.6 apg, without however managing to cross arms with Derthona Basket's other new acquisition, Phil Greene IV.
