Unlucky exit for the Juventus representatives in the provincial phase of the &Join the game& National 3 against 3 Championship held last Sunday at the Palasport in Valenza where almost 200 athletes divided between Under 13 and 14 met. However, bad luck struck both for the "Super Fly": Bagnasco, Cabella, Viale, Rossini, and for the "Pisoli": Sala, Gabatelli, Lombardi and Pezzulla N. given that, after having brilliantly passed the first phase, both they were defeated in the decisive clashes for qualifying for the regional phase, by daring opponent baskets at the last second.
Finally, even the Under 14s who took to the field with Lisini, Nizzola, Olivieri and Franchini did not go beyond the qualifying days.
Minibasketball – Regional rookies
Week with three outings for the Juventus debutants. After having prevailed over Biella and Asti respectively tomorrow, they will be on stage in Vercelli on Sunday at the PalaCamagna.
Against the Biella team our team struggled at the start of the match when the guests put the locals in difficulty, thanks to their physical dominance. Then in the second phase of the game coach Gatti's young players exploited their greater resistance and technique, first turning the tide of the match and then decisively extending the lead. The match against Asti was easier and essentially saw Gatti's boys manage the match from start to finish. Overall good performances from the team in which the conclusions of Mogni and Lerta with Biella and of Lisini and Cremonti with Asti stand out.
