Derthona strengthens: Amine Noua is black and white
Various high-level experiences, including national championships and European competitions in his career Amine Noua, power forward born in '97, new player for Bertram Derthona from today.
CAREER – Born in Lyon on 7 February 1997, Noua took his first steps in the youth sector of Asvel, with whom he made his first team debut in 2016. With the French team, in which he played consecutively from 2015 to 2021, he won three championships French (2016, 2019 and 2021) and two French Cups (2019, 2021).
He also played in the Under 18 EuroLeague tournament with Asvel in 2014/15: in four games he averaged 19.8 points, to which he added 7 rebounds. He then took part in the EuroCup (from 2017 to 2019) and the EuroLeague (from 2019 to 2021), thus accumulating significant experience at the highest European level. In the four years, in fact, he made a total of 83 games with Asvel.
In the summer of 2021, Noua has his first experience outside of France, signing with Morabanc Andorra. With the Spanish team he takes the field in both the Liga ACB and the EuroCup, confirming himself - as in previous years - as a reliable two-point shooter (51% in the thirteen cup matches played). In April 2022 he returns to France, to SIG Strasbourg.
In 2022/23 he wears the Asvel vest again, playing both the championship and the EuroLeague (for the third time in his career). In the top continental competition he produces 6.5 points and 3 rebounds per game.
The 2023/24 season begins in Israel, wearing the Hapoel Holon jersey, with which he takes the field in both the national championship and the BCL. In the cup he is one of the best players on the team in the four matches played so far: in 31 minutes of average use he produces almost 15 points and 7 rebounds.
During his career, Amine has played throughout the French youth national teams, winning the silver medal at the EuroBasket Under 20 in 2017, at the end of a tournament in which he recorded 12.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game and was included in the ideal quintet of the event. In November 2017 he was called up to the senior national team for the first time. Now he comes to Bertram Derthona to start a new chapter in his career.
