Second defeat in the series against Virtus Segafredo Bologna for Bertram Derthona, who remained in contact for fifteen minutes, before suffering the opponent's break which directed the match. The team coached by Ramondino tries several times to come back into contact, but Virtus rejects every attempt with clarity and wins. Of note is Hunt's debut (15 p); race 3 will be scheduled for Friday 2 June at 21pm at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris.

An energetic start to the match for Bertram, which finds some important initiatives from Hunt: Derthona leads the fraction in points for large stretches, before suffering the return and overtaking - with a triple from Teodosic - by Virtus. At 10' the home team was ahead 23-20. In the second half Bologna took the lead with triples from Abass and plays from Mickey, which gave them a double-digit lead; the team coached by Ramondino tries to stay in contact with Hunt's baskets. At halftime the score was 55-40.

Upon returning from the locker room, Bertram partially reduced its gap with outside baskets from Macura and Daum, but then Virtus produced a new acceleration that was worth the lead up to 80-58 at the third siren. In the last quarter Bologna widens the lead further, prevailing 108-78.

Thus coach Marco Ramondino at the end of the race: “Congratulations to Virtus for this second victory as deserved as the first. I think we could have stayed in the game a little longer by scoring well-constructed shots in the first half and committing fewer defensive errors between the first and second periods. As in game 1 we made a few unforced errors at the start of the match, as well as between the first and second quarters, my analysis must be done on the first part of the match because then our opponents controlled the match from all points of sight. We expected this liveliness and approach from Hunt, who was also good in the content of the match.".
