At the PalaEnergica, Germani Brescia took the two points in the 6th matchday of the Serie A championship. The hosts were forced to chase their opponents, who were precise in attack and solid in defence, right from the start. Bertram's comeback attempts were finally ended in the third quarter when the Brescians took off and secured the victory.

In a match where we needed to take a step forward in terms of physicality, malice and energy, we never managed to do so. And this gave control of the game to the opponents who have the talent, organization and depth to lead the match. Today we needed a match of different energy and physicality to be competitive and it wasn't there. He was also seen as timid in attack from the start: good actions constructed but not materialised, such as the open shots by Daum and Candi and the shot from underneath by Weems. Even offensively it was seen how we were not tough and "bad" enough to finish the actions in attack as we were not in defense.".
