Defeat on the Vanoli Cremona pitch for Bertram Derthona, at the end of a match in which the team coached by Ramondino chased for large stretches. Despite Bertram's numerous comeback attempts, Vanoli managed the accumulated margin and gained the two points.

First quarter of great balance in Cremona: Bertram impacts it better, who - with fluidity - extends to 5-11, Cremona takes it back with an 8-0 which is worth the overtaking and Obasohan closes it with five straight points which are worth the draw 18 at 10'. In the second period, Vanoli took the lead, taking advantage of Lacey and McCullough's precision shooting from outside, reaching 33-25 in the 17th minute. At the end of the first half, the distances between the two teams remained almost unchanged: in the 20th minute the score was 40-31.

Upon returning from the locker rooms, Derthona returns to the field with a more aggressive attitude in attack and, thanks to five triples (2 Severini, Baldasso, Weems and Straūtins) closes the gap to -3 (54-51), which forces coach Cavina to stop the race. After the time-out, Cremona finds in Zanotti the offensive reference who gives the new lead (62-53 at 30'). In the last quarter Vanoli - with clarity - found a series of important baskets to repel the Bianconeri's latest attempts at a comeback: at the siren the score was 83-67.

Thus coach Marco Ramondino at the end of the race: “Congratulations to Cremona for the victory. At the moment it is difficult for us to play a consistent, clean game with few errors: in the first half we had poor percentages despite well-constructed shots with good shooters and this affected us, while in the second and third quarter we did everything necessary to get back into the game both offensively and defensively. The two decisive plays were the last two defensive possessions of the third quarter, in which we conceded two three-point plays. In the last period there are great merits of Cremona, who scored several difficult baskets by Zanotti and Denegri which determined the proportions of the final result".
