Derthona awarded with the "Trophy of Sports Merit" by CONI
Important evening for Bertram Derthona, who yesterday – Thursday 9 December – received from Delegation CONI Alessandria il “Sports Merit Trophy” ʺfor the brilliant results obtainedʺ. The Club's first historic promotion to Serie A, which came with the victory in the A2 playoff final against Reale Mutua Torino, earned Derthona Basket this prestigious recognition.
The CONI Merit and Awards delivery ceremony took place in the fascinating and historic location of Reading Club of Tortona: a delegation composed of the President was present to collect the award for Derthona Marco Picchi, by the Vice President Roberto Tava, by the Sports Director Vittorio Perticarini, as captain Richard Tavernelli and Luke Severini.
Yesterday evening the Doctor Beniamino Gavio, controlling shareholder of the company since July 2021 with the Gavio Group, ʺfor his commitment to the world of sportʺ.
This is a further important recognition of the commitment made by the Club and Doctor Gavio over these years and of the great sporting goals achieved, with passion and competence. And with an eye always attentive to overcoming the challenges of the present and future.
