Victory for Bertram Yachts Derthona on the second day of the Green Group of the Supercoppa Centenario, at the end of a match fought from start to finish against JB Monferrato. Coach Ramondino chooses Mascolo in the starting five in place of Tavernelli – unavailable – and four points each from number 14 and Sanders to open the match: after 2' Bertram leads 0-8 on JB Monferrato. In the following moments, the Lions continued to find good collective solutions and second opportunities to attack rebounds: with one of these, Severini with a tap-in secured the first double-digit lead for the guests (2-12 at 5'). Derthona further expands their margin, finding in defensive intensity the key to running in transition and producing points on the counterattack: Ambrosin's triple closes the first ten minutes at 10-26. Second period which begins with the same leitmotif with which the previous one ended: Derthona finds baskets in quick transition and keeps the gap unchanged, then extending it with the initiatives of Graziani and Gazzotti which give the Lions the maximum advantage (19-37 at 15'). The final phase of the first half is still the prerogative of the team coached by coach Ramondino, who leads the match in the 20th minute with a score of 25-45. Upon returning from the locker room, the hosts found good offensive solutions and closed their gap (36-53 at 24'), before the Lions accelerated again led by Sanders and Mascolo (37-65 at 27'). In the final stages of the half, Bertram widened its lead again, closing ahead 41-74 in the 30th minute.
