Third consecutive victory for Bertram Derthona, who at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris authoritatively leads the match with VL Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro, before suffering the opponent's comeback. When the guests get close - even just one possession behind - the team coached by Ramondino maintains clarity and makes the right plays, both offensive and defensive, to achieve success.

Derthona made a sprint start, finding great fluidity in attack from the first minutes of the match: Tavernelli's basket right at the buzzer (24-14) sealed ten minutes of Juventus control. In the second half the match runs on the same tracks, with the team coached by coach Ramondino producing a new break - with baskets from Candi and Harper - which brings the score to 47-29 at the break.

Upon returning from the changing rooms, VL Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro scores an important partial which closes the gap to under double figures. Candi pushed Bertram forward in the final quarter, whose triple at the end made it 64-55 in the 30th minute. In the final period the visitors' comeback continued and reached 71 points with 4 minutes left with Abdur-Rahkman's triple, thus creating a sprint finish. The 6-0 scored by Macura-Christon puts Derthona back in command (77-71) 1 minute before the siren, forcing coach Repesa to interrupt the match. Cheatam shortens to the line, Pesaro then misses two three-point shots to get closer and the coolness of Christon and a defensive recovery by Macura give the victory to Bertram, who wins 81-73.

Thus the assistant coach Massimo Galli at the end of the race: “A two-sided match for us: after an excellent first half, the sub-optimal physical condition of some of our players caused us to suffer a decline. I expected Pesaro to return, but in the last three minutes we regained our momentum and won a deserved victory. Filloy suffered an adductor problem and was therefore unavailable this evening. The physical condition of some players influences the quality of training, but in addition to character there are contents: defensively the team showed very important solidity, making the right choices to win the matches. Pesaro is a team that will be a protagonist in this championship, against which playing and winning will be difficult. The foul situation forced us to make choices, but limiting WL in some situations is a truly significant thing.".
