The precision of the players from the Marches at the line allowed Pesaro to repel any attempt at a comeback by Bertram and achieve victory by 96-92.

Thus coach Marco Ramondino at the end of the race: “Congratulations to Pesaro for the victory. For our part it was a match with too many unforced errors, especially from a defensive point of view. In the emergency of this last period, with players out of role even in training, we need to take to the field with more determination, physicality and sporting malice, especially on the part of those who come from the bench. We must play with more presence and precision, because in a match in which we played well for large stretches and took advantages, we fueled and restored Pesaro's confidence with the unforced errors committed almost everywhere during the forty minutes.".
