Bertram Derthona was defeated by PalaBarbuto at the end of a match in which - after 15 minutes in the lead - the team coached by Ramondino suffered a comeback and was overtaken by their opponents. In the second half, GeVi's talented baskets repel the Bianconeri's comeback attempts, now awaiting the great match at the EA7 Emporio Armani Milano scheduled for Sunday 30 April at 17.30 pm.

First quarter with a high offensive pace for Bertram, who finds fluid solutions near the rim to produce the lead up to 16-24 in the 10th minute. At the start of the second half, Filloy's basket updates the maximum gap (16-26), before - in the following minutes - Napoli manages to score baskets in primary transition to overtake. At halftime, after two balanced partials, GeVi leads 35-33.

Upon returning from the locker rooms, the team coached by Pancotto launched a new attack thanks to the talent of the individuals, widening the gap to 14 points (60-46). In the final stages, Christon inspired the Juventus return attempt: in the 30th minute the home team was ahead 62-53. In the last quarter Derthona builds, but does not score, some open shots from outside which would allow them to get closer. Michineau's difficult baskets push Napoli to victory, which arrives with a score of 82-69.

Thus coach Marco Ramondino at the end of the race: “Congratulations to Napoli who played a match of great character, attention and technical content. We played a somewhat timid match, in attack and defense, to try to compete against their physicality. We played a mediocre match in terms of technical content, but I didn't see any worrying things, as the team - despite struggling to do practically everything during the match - did not fall apart and provided signs of unity in today's great difficulties. The statistics must be the back up of what we saw: in the first half we moved the ball well and constructed good shots, while when the attack became more static the difficulty in rebounding the attack increased. This statistic is indicative of our worsening offensive quality over the course of the match. I congratulate coach Pancotto, because Napoli played an excellent defense. Their growth in terms of physicality, aggression and athleticism has made the difference. I believe that when there is an objective without tomorrow such as salvation, there must rightly be an important push, but I believe that for us athletes the motivations must be internal regardless of the opponents".
