A high-level second half, control of rebounds, precision in two-point shooting and a new team performance are the keys to the second success in as many matches in the BCL for Bertram Derthona. In the first European away match in their history, the Juventus team played with solidity and fluidity for large stretches of the match, making significant extensions several times and resisting Bursa's comeback attempts.

Solid first quarter from Bertram Derthona, who after the opening minutes took control of the score in the half thanks to the partial which made it 8-17 after 6 minutes. In the final stages, Tofas got closer to 16-21 in the 10th minute. In the second period, Bursa overtakes thanks to the precision of their shots from outside, but the match remains very balanced: at half-time the Turks are ahead 47-43.

Upon returning from the locker rooms, Bertram's defense noticeably increases in intensity, drawing energy from defensive efficiency to play quickly or to find fluid solutions in attack. The Bianconeri made an important break in the period, reaching 60-68 in the 30th minute. In the last quarter, Tofas returns to just one point behind, but - after the time-out requested by coach Ramondino - Derthona takes back control of the match, controlling the opponents' comeback attempts and extending the lead in the final with dunks by Weems and Thomas. At the final siren the final score was 80-88, the team coached by Ramondino took the lead in Group H.

Thus Mike Daum at the end of the race: “Congratulations to Tofas, a very good team that played with great physicality encouraged by the crowd. For us it was a great victory, at the end of a long trip".

Thus coach Marco Ramondino: “We must be really happy to return home with this result and this performance. Playing hard and putting ourselves in a position to win against any opponent is what we have to do. Tofas is a very talented team, it wasn't easy to play like we did today so we are really happy.I want to thank the Club for organizing this double trip, not easy on a logistical level, but well structured".
