Bertram Yachts Derthona remains undefeated, taking command of operations against Orzinuovi starting from the middle of the second half, to progressively extend in the second half up to 90-82 at the siren. The start of the match was characterized by the balance between the two teams, who found effective offensive solutions: two consecutive baskets by Martini, who was part of the match together with Spanghero, set the score at 10-9 in the 5th minute. The guests then found the advantage with Spanghero's own lay-up, which made it 14-15 in the 7th minute; the partial - fueled by Spanghero and Miles - forces coach Ramondino to stop the match at 14-20 in the 8th minute. In the final stages of the half, Cannon and Gazzotti bring Derthona back into contact: at 10' it's 20-22. In the second quarter the guests continue to lead the match, extending the margin to 7 points (23-30): Mascolo and Ambrosin then close the gap, forcing coach Corbani to interrupt operations. Cannon was the protagonist in the following moments: seven consecutive points from the American player pushed the Lions to 38-32. In the last actions of the first half, a super dunk by Sanders keeps Orzinuovi at a distance: at halftime the score is 43-40. Balance on the pitch upon returning from the changing rooms: five points from Severini sign the attempt to reach forward, blocked by Martini and Hollis: in the 25th minute the score was 53-46. In the following minutes, Derthona grows in intensity and progressively widens the gap with three-point baskets from Gazzotti and Ambrosin: coach Corbani is forced to stop the match at 69-56 in the 28th minute. Cannon and Sanders cap off a great third quarter and set the score at 74-56 at the third buzzer. In the fourth quarter, Orzinuovi tries to close the gap, but the Lions always find the most effective solutions to move the net and update their maximum advantage (83-64 at 34') with a triple from captain Tavernelli. In the final, the guests close the gap with some baskets from Miles, who sets the score at 88-77 with 1 minute left with a three-point shot.
