Second consecutive defeat for Bertram Yachts Derthona who, without Gražulis, surrendered to Edilnol Biella at the end of a match which saw the hosts lead the match from the middle of the first half onwards. The first minutes of the match are characterized by the great balance between the two teams, who find good offensive solutions with continuity: after 5' the guests – led by Gaines and Martini – lead 10-12. In the next phase of the first quarter the guests found the way to the basket with greater difficulty and Biella overtook with Saccaggi (18-17 in the 9th minute); at 10' the score is 22-19. At the start of the second half the team coached by Galbiati produced a 5-0 break which widened the gap (27-19 at 12') and forced coach Ramondino to stop the match. The time-out does not change the inertia of the match, led by Biella in terms of pace and score thanks also to Bertram's turnovers: in the 16th minute the hosts lead by double figures (33-23) and the guests interrupt the game again 'encounter. In the final minutes of the first half, Edilnol maintained a double-digit margin and in the 20th minute they were ahead 40-26. Upon returning from the locker rooms, Biella continued to grind out the game, maintaining its advantage unchanged, thanks to Omogbo's precision near the rim, before the guest's return attempt led by Martini, who reduced the gap to ten points at the end of the third siren (57 -47). Derthona definitively returns to contact following Formenti's triple, which caps off a run of 0-14, making it 57-52 and forcing coach Galbiati to stop the match. Coming out of the time-out, the home team produced a 7-0 counter-break which was once again worth the double-digit margin (64-53 at 34'): this time it was coach Ramondino who interrupted the operations. In the next phase of the match, the Lions, despite their efforts, are unable to get back into contact with their opponents, who maintain a margin of safety. Biella achieves success with a score of, Derthona will return to the field on Sunday 3 November 2019 at 18.00 pm at the PalaOltrepò in Voghera against Scafati.
