Defeat in the provincial Derby for Bertram Yachts Derthona which, without Tavernelli, surrendered to Novipiù Casale at the end of a match led by the home team right from the start of the game. Coach Ramondino chooses Buffo in the starting quintet, together with Gaines, Martini, Pullazi and Gražulis: in the first, balanced minutes, Casale maintains the lead in the match thanks to Martinoni's shooting precision and initiatives. The visitors' first advantage was sealed by Gražulis' dunk, which made it 15-16 in the 7th minute and forced coach Ferrari to stop the match. Coming out of the suspension, the hosts - with triples from Roberts - produced the break which made it 28-22 in the 10th minute. The favorable moment for Novipiù also continues at the start of the second half, in which the Monferrato team reaches a double-digit margin (33-22) with Valentini's basket. The hosts play with great intensity and energy and further widen the gap up to +16 (43-27) in the 17th minute. At halftime the score is 48-33. Upon returning from the locker room, Bertram tries to close the gap, but the comeback attempt is stopped by Sims' baskets; the Junior continues to lead the match in terms of pace and scoring, taking advantage of the second opportunities generated by the attacking rebounds and extending the lead to 61-43 in the 28th minute. The third period is closed by Valentini's triple, which scores the +20 (65-45) in the 30th minute. In the last half the hosts kept the gap between the two teams unchanged, continuing to find effective solutions in attack and obtaining the victory 81-60. The Bianconeri's next match will be Sunday 17 November 2019 at 18.00 pm against Capo d'Orlando at the PalaOltrepò in Voghera.
