Coach Ramondino's assessment after the first month of work
First month of work gone for Bertram Derthona, who is rapidly approaching the Final Four of the 2023 Super Cup, the first official match of the season scheduled for Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September at the PalaLeonessa A2A in Brescia. Once the initial phase of the 2023/24 vintage has been archived, it is time for an initial assessment coach Marco Ramondino.
Coach, an opinion on the first weeks of work with a view to the Super Cup.
So far we are doing a lot, the team is working with great intensity and dedication. We are a very renewed group that started almost from scratch: we didn't even have Severini available who could have helped us in this transition. We continue to add things day after day and work towards upcoming commitments.
BCL debut for you and the team. Talk about expectations and emotions.
We are still very far from the start of the competition, it is not yet the time to think about it because, as I always remember, despite being a Club that has grown with excellent results in just a few years, the first times are historic. So, today, rather than thinking about what emotions we will feel, we must have the desire to experience this historic moment for Society.
The Club is also growing a lot on an organizational level, with youth and women's teams. Your comment.
Ours is a Club that is running, we are trying to improve, not only by adding and growing in size but also by developing a work culture and doing things well and at the best. These are two tracks on which the Club is doing a lot, not for expansion but also for quality: this is a wonderful sign as everyone's focus is on what happens on the pitch but also on what supports the team. We must leave our mark on the territory, not only with sporting results which are what I and we must worry about.

We feel great emotion when we enter the Citadel every day. At the same time we have the responsibility to produce an effort and work appropriate to the house that hosts us. I think it is extremely motivating to be here and work in the best possible conditions.

Have the clarity and serenity to enjoy every single moment, as it will be a historic, difficult and motivating season. We will need to find the clarity and awareness to fully live every moment that we are able to experience with this team. Many times, between commitments and responsibilities, we lose sight of living everyday life.
