The Bertram Derthona towards the Novipiù Casale Monferrato
Twenty-four hours and a little more until the home derby for Bertram Derthona. The Bianconeri will face the undefeated league leaders Novipiù Casale Monferrato, in a PalaOltrepo' which promises to be sold out in every order of seats. The warm atmosphere will help make a match with a thousand meanings even more exciting and which, curiously, in the four previous episodes has always seen the away team win. This is coach Pansa's point of the situation: "We are playing against the undefeated league leaders, a team that has a long-standing common experience that allows them to express extremely solid basketball on both sides of the pitch and that arrives at the derby with the certainty of seven consecutive victories.” Coach Lorenzo Pansa does not mince words when describing the characteristics of what, to date, is the strongest team in the West group: "Novipiù forces you to think, trying to break down all offensive situations, while in attack in this moment plays extremely fluid basketball, knowing how to find a different protagonist in every moment of the game. We arrive at the derby with the anger of a defeat that came in the last minutes and with the desire to try to give ourselves and give an exciting evening to all our fans."
The Juventus leader delves into the next opponents: "Their roster is made up of players with great experience and talent for the category, from Tomassini to Blizzard, Sanders and Martinoni, up to Severini who, despite his young age, has proven to be an excellent player at this level. But my last thought of the evening and the first of the morning concern Derthona, so when it comes time for the tap-off the only thing on my mind will be to try to beat the league leaders."
